Those that have kids know that it takes a lot to keep your floors clean. Not everyone likes to spend a lot of money on cleaners to keep our floors clean. What if I told you that there was a spray mop that you could make and use your own cleaner in it? Talk about saving money right there! I have been using another spray mop with expensive cleaners for a while to mop my floors, so I was excited to try something that didn’t cost much, if anything, to use to clean my floors.

Here are my thoughts – right off the bat. I LOVE this mop! What a great idea and a great addition to any home!
- No batteries needed. What, no batteries? Yeah – NO batteries are needed. You use the trigger handle, pull, spray, mop, walah!
- You don’t have to buy disposable mop pads, you simply use the pad, use again and when it’s ready to be cleaned, just toss in the wash.
- You don’t need expensive chemical refills, you can make your own, use plain water or you can even opt to use store bought cleaners and dilute them. Here are some recipes from Rubbermaid:
Cleaning Solution 1
• 2 Tablespoons ammonia
• ½ cup white vinegar
• ½ teaspoon of baby shampoo
• Fill the rest with hot water
This solution works well on hardwood floors.
Cleaning Solution 2
• 2Tablespoons white vinegar
• 2-3 drops liquid soap
• Fill the rest with hot water
This solution is perfect for glazed tiles, vinyl, soft tile, cement, brick, and laminate.
Cleaning Solution 3
• 2 Tablespoons baking soda
• 2-3 drops liquid soap
• Fill the rest with hot water
This solution is great for unglazed tiles, marble, stone, and slate.
Cleaning Solution 4
• 1 Tablespoon white vinegar
• 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
• Fill the rest with hot water
This solution also works well on hardwood floors.

Nothing fancy, just a short video to show you ‘no batteries’ and how it works.
So far, I can see this saving my budget a lot of money. With my other mop, I had to buy the liquid refills, box of cleaning pads and more batteries. Talk about a way to break the budget right there. All in all – love this mop! Give it all the stars, and then some!

my mom would be so happy if I could win this for her!

I wash floors with very hot water with a touch of bleach. The floors get clean with no stickyness.
I’d like to win because the pads are washable.
I need a new, good mop. My tip would be to use nontoxic products whenever possible.

My cleaning tip: To clean mineral deposits from the inside of your dishwasher, pour in a container of Tang Drink Mix and run the dishwasher
I would love the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop because I like the idea of the reusable microfiber cleaning pad and I like saving money
I don’t have any great cleaning tips but I would love to win a Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop because I could mix my own cleaning solution – make it stronger as I need it – plus I can use “greener” methods of cleaning as well!

Thanks for the giveaway…would love to win the new Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop because the mop we use now gets “stinky” after a few uses unless we practically boil it in bleach after each use; the Reveal has reusable, machine washable mopping pads that would presumably solve this issue for us !

I start from the front of the house and work my way back.
I want to win this because I have 2 cats and 2 dogs, and Im constantly cleaning my floors!
I would love to win because I currently have one of the wet swiffer, and I don’t like the sticky feel it leaves on my hardwood floors. Plus this would be so much cheaper than having to buy the refill solution and the disposable pads. Thanks.
I clean as I go and that is my best cleaning tip as it means things don’t pile up!
I would like to win the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop because I really need a good mop – we live in an older home and the floors are a real challenge to keep clean!

My cleaning tip is that is is best to clean up spill as they happen.
I would love to try the Reveal because I need a better mopping routine.
Luv to win this mop cause my old sponge mop is yukky and smelly. lol
Spend 10min in each room everyday…it helps you stay on top of thinks.
People laugh when I tell them, but people always ask me too, how I have the house so clean too…I have four kids, a hubby, and am at the tail end of my PhD studies, so time is of the essence, to be sure. My tip is straighten up regularly but clean one room entirely (the walls, baseboards, corners, ceiling fans, vents, etc. every day. It seems silly but works out great. With (8) rooms on the ground level and (7) downstairs I would just be overwhelmed if I didn’t do it that way.
I’d like to win the mop to make cleaning the kitchen floor easier. I run a mop in there every day after dinner because we have a toddler who spends a lot of time on the floor.
I like to vacuum with an attachment before I scrub floors. I would like to win this so I don’t have to scrub floors by hand anymore. Thanks!
