Those that have kids know that it takes a lot to keep your floors clean. Not everyone likes to spend a lot of money on cleaners to keep our floors clean. What if I told you that there was a spray mop that you could make and use your own cleaner in it? Talk about saving money right there! I have been using another spray mop with expensive cleaners for a while to mop my floors, so I was excited to try something that didn’t cost much, if anything, to use to clean my floors.
$29.99

Three ways to Save!
- save on Cleaning Solution:
Customize your cleaning solution. Use two tablespoons of your favorite solution mixed with water or for a chemical-free clean use plain hot water. - save on Expensive Refills:
Wash and reuse the durable microfiber cleaning pad up to 100 times. - save on Trips To The Store:
With no need for batteries or refills, you’ll save money and time with fewer errands.
When designing the Rubbermaid Reveal, we truly tried to design a mop with you in mind. With the Reveal Spray Mop, you will save money and waste less. The wide, thick microfiber pad reaches deep into cracks and crevices to pick up 50% more dirt than traditional sponge mops. The microfiber pad doesn’t just get floors cleaner; it even helps them dry faster so you can get on with your day.
Rubbermaid Reveal’s refillable bottle gives you a custom clean in no time! Just mix two tablespoons of your favorite cleaning solution with water, close the cap, and click it into the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop. Need ideas for custom solutions? Try one of these recipes to uncover a brilliant clean with every swipe!

Here are my thoughts – right off the bat. I LOVE this mop! What a great idea and a great addition to any home!
- No batteries needed. What, no batteries? Yeah – NO batteries are needed. You use the trigger handle, pull, spray, mop, walah!
- You don’t have to buy disposable mop pads, you simply use the pad, use again and when it’s ready to be cleaned, just toss in the wash.
- You don’t need expensive chemical refills, you can make your own, use plain water or you can even opt to use store bought cleaners and dilute them. Here are some recipes from Rubbermaid:
Cleaning Solution 1
• 2 Tablespoons ammonia
• ½ cup white vinegar
• ½ teaspoon of baby shampoo
• Fill the rest with hot water
This solution works well on hardwood floors.
Cleaning Solution 2
• 2Tablespoons white vinegar
• 2-3 drops liquid soap
• Fill the rest with hot water
This solution is perfect for glazed tiles, vinyl, soft tile, cement, brick, and laminate.
Cleaning Solution 3
• 2 Tablespoons baking soda
• 2-3 drops liquid soap
• Fill the rest with hot water
This solution is great for unglazed tiles, marble, stone, and slate.
Cleaning Solution 4
• 1 Tablespoon white vinegar
• 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
• Fill the rest with hot water
This solution also works well on hardwood floors.

Nothing fancy, just a short video to show you ‘no batteries’ and how it works.
So far, I can see this saving my budget a lot of money. With my other mop, I had to buy the liquid refills, box of cleaning pads and more batteries. Talk about a way to break the budget right there. All in all – love this mop! Give it all the stars, and then some!

My only tip is clean up spills right away before they start to dry. Much easier.
I’d love to win because #1 – I trust Rubbermaid products and #2 – it looks like a much easier mop to use that the one I have now.
Cleaning tip- use dryer sheets to dust your blinds. It will help repell the dust longer than just normal cleaning.
I would love to win the reveal mop because I’m anxious to save money by making my own cleaner for this mop!

All I know is that it’s best to clean your house in small doses instead of waiting for the dirt to just pile up! Also, I love that you can use your own cleaning solution in this mop.
I use old t-shirts torn up as my cleaning rags instead of paper towels. I’d love to win this so I can use homemade cleaners.

I really want this mop, I usually do my floors the old fashioned way-(on my knees with a rag and bucket) this would make mopping so much more easier and less painful for my knees, I have 2 cats that love to throw up on a regular basis and I am forever mopping up something, my only real cleaning tip is when wiping down counter tops, bathroom walls, refrigerators, ect. to use any brand of the cleaning erasers that are on the market, I think they work wonders on every surface and seem to remove any kind of marks, stains or mess and I use them alot, dont know how they make them so versatile but they are, they do shrink down from use pretty fast but I keep a supply on hand to use when cleaning, Thanks for this great giveaway

This tip may be hard to put into practice (although this great mop would help): don’t let your floors get too dirty – if you get into a routine of mopping more often, the j0b will go much quicker and your house will look better too

theskyisblue1215(at)gmail(dot)com
My tip is to clean up the mess as soon as possible. I’d love to win and replace my white hand-wring mop.
My cleaning tip: spray shower & bath tub with cleaner as soon as you get out & let it start to work while you’re getting ready that way it softens the grime & it’s easier to scrub down! I love that the mop would save me money by not having to buy refill pads like I do now.
This mom will save me money over a year using it around $50 and I use vinegar to clean a lot of stuff.

My best cleaning tip is to set your timer for 10 minutes every evening and just go to town in one room (for us it is usually the kitchen). You will be amazed at how much you can get done, and it will save your house from becoming a total disaster area!
I really need a mop, because ours broke! I had to clean the kitchen floor on my hands and knees last week…something I DON’T want to repeat!
I find it a must, to clean as you cook. Saves so much work at the end, and gives you more counter space in the process. I think this mop would be perfect for me, like the reusable bonnets that can be washed 100 times. Wow
My best cleaning tip is:
One white items that are stained such as counters, clothing or carpets, rubbing a small amount of Clorox Cleanup gel, letting it set for five minutes and then rinsing will always remove the stain, even lipstick.
I love that the Rubbermaid Reveal has washable cloths and that I can use my own solution which will both save me money.

MANDATORY ENTRY: I would truly LOVE to win this mop BECAUSE I broke my Swiffer Sweeper a few months back. I could not believe my BELOVED Swiffer snapped right in 2. I was totally heartbroken. Since my Swiffer broke, I have NOT replaced it so I truly need this new MOP! PLEASE???
And my cleaning tip of the year…don ‘t buy a Swiffer! Haa-haa-haa-haa, just kidding!
Seriously, don’t use Pine-Sol, it leaves a VERY yucky residue on your newly clean floors, something I learned the hard way. I had cleaned my floors with Pine-Sol one afternoon and later that night…I could see footprints/shoe prints in the glare of the lights. It was horrible because I had company over at the time. All I could think of was, “Gosh, I hope my company doesn’t think my floors are clean because they can see where they had just walked.” Embarrassing moment #5, 162 of 2010! Eeekkk! =)

My favorite ‘cleaning’ tip is to leave the vacuum cleaner in the living room. That way if someone drops by unexpectedly it always looks like I was just getting ready to clean!!
I would love the Reveal mop because the pads are reusable and you use household items for cleansers, unlike the one I have now that you have to buy replacement pads and cleaner for all the time. It would definitely help with my deflating pocketbook!
I dont have any cleaning tips . i just try to clean the spill up then NOT when its had time to dry thats all i know LOL

o great cleaning tips – but i’d love to win the mop, I’ve been searching for something new to use in the kitchen, thanks for the review.
I am a stay at home mom to 3 kids, ages 13, 9 and 7. They’re slobs! My husband isn’t much help either..LOL…Our whole downstairs and the 2 upstairs bathrooms are tile, and this would be a HUGE time saver. I’m also interested in it because it doesn’t use chemicals to clean. I have tried 3 different items to clean the tiles and so far I haven’t found anything that works well. This looks like an awesome product for tile!
You asked for cleaning tips and I don’t really have any. I do try to find the easiest and most non-toxic way to clean my home. One good tip I can think of is to clean the microwave. Simply heat up a bowl of water for about 5 minutes or so. Then let it sit in the microwave for another 5 minutes so the steam can build up inside. Take the bowl of water out (carefully) and simply wipe down the microwave with a cloth or paper towels. It’s the best non-toxic way to clean
Anyway, thanks for the chance to win!!

I need this so badly because my floors area always in need of a good mop! I don’t have anything quick and easy like this one so it doesn’t get done nearly as often as it should! My cleaning tip is for the vacuuming of the floors: I always leave my vacuum out. My carpet one is in a corner of the hallway right by the family room which needs to be vacuumed at least once a day with my kids around and my hard floor vacuum I keep in the corner of my dining area in the kitchen. This makes it very convenient just to plug in, turn on, and vacuum up messes in just a few minutes.

KEEP A MAT AT THE DOOR TO WIPE FEET AND I HATE TO CLEAN MY FLOORS WITH A REGULAR MOP…THIS LOOKS SO EASY TO USE
I have no cleaning tips because I hate to clean. I need this mop because the dogs have totally messed up my floor. They track in everything.

My cleaning tip is that I clean the toilet bowl and the bathroom counter and floor while the kiddos are in the bathtub splashing away. I feel like I’m making good use of my time while they’re enjoying their bath.
I’d love to win the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop because I love that I can use my own cleaning solution!

my cleaning tip would be to never let your home get too cluttered – if you have something out then put it away to get rid of what could just pile up. And always keep on top of things to not let them get out of hand. My Grandmother always said “don’t put off til tomorrow that which you can do today!” And I would love to win the Rubbermaid Reveal System because it really seems like it would be a lot better than the Swiffer Wet Jet I am using now that uses so much fluid and so many disposable cloths.

I like to use vinegar and baking soda to clean! Does a great job and it’s cheap!
This mop would be so nice to have since i have a 4 yr old and a 2 yr old. I have to mop almost every night! This would be great for frequent users since you can make your own solution and wash thecleaninghead.
I keep the house always organized, make sure everything not used is put away, and clean little sections of the house each day so it’s not overwhelming.

Sometimes I clean the shower/bath when I’m taking a shower (only when I’m super duper busy and know I won’t be able to do it properly)
I’d love this mop for so many reasons: I can use my own cleaning solution, I can spray more cleaner when I need too and it lasts so much longer than what I use now!

I would love to win this RubberMaid mop because I am constantly looking for a better way to clean my floors. I have three kids and a step-kid that comes and goes that are constantly in and out. We need something that works quick, easy, and is inexpensive. I have new flooring in my dining room and am preparing to put down new flooring in the kitchen and would really like something that will help keep the floor clean and looking new. We also have two cats and a inside/outside dog–between the shedding and accidents looking for a good way to clean the floors is a constant battle for me. Therefore, having a mop that is quick, easy, and inexpensive would be a great addition to helping my family keep our floors clean and in good shape.
I would like to win this Rubbermaid Mop because it would make it so much easier to keep the kitchen floor clean. My cleaning tip is to clean up spills as the occur.
the best thing I’ve found for cleaning a coffee pot is to put about 2 TBLS of baking soda in place of the coffee grounds and run the cycle with about 1/2 pot of water. I then fill the pot the rest of the way with water & ant residue comes right off…
I really want this mop because it seems so easy and actually RECOMMENDS no toxic chemical cleaning!
My cleaning tip is to use the Magic Eraser on a greasy stovetop. I’d like to win this mop because it looks a lot let messy than my old school mop and bucket.

my only tip is to keep the clutter down, routinely clean out closets for garage sales or donations and immediately open and sort mail, getting rid of all that junk mail and ads helps keep the clutter down. I want to win this because this sounds better than the swiffer refills
