We already have been to GA. and TN., and before summer end we will go to OH. and TN one more time. All by car!! And with children, lol.
We are planning a trip to San Diego where we will be driving to lots of sites and attractions.
Our family plans to spend as much time camping as possible! We love to get away and be in the middle of the mountains. Wholesome family fun!
Well, we’ve just returned from our “summer plans”. We had a family wedding way out in Portland Oregon…we live in Virginia. So many months ago we found a good price for our plane trip, and I packed carefully so we only had to pay for ONE bag to be checked. But our 2 carry-ons were pretty heavy. The wedding was beautiful, and very family-oriented.We did sight seeing on the side. Had a wonderful time. Our Niece and Nephew treated us to a REAL German Dinner, for our 60th wedding anniversary, so that was the topping on the cake. Wonderful trip. Now if I can only get over this jet lag it would be great.

We live in central Florida and have plans to visit our friends on the gulf coast who have 2 daughters, who we absolutely adore. They are teachers, so they have the summer off and we all hang around the pool and BBQ and go to the beach. Then they come over to our house and we BBQ, hang out around the pool, and then go to Disney World.

We traveled with our then four month old baby to two weddings across the country in June. That’s more than enough for me! Traveling is definitely not as easy as it used to be when it was just my husband and me. Now I am looking forward to staying home for the rest of the summer! The only travel plans we have for this summer are to take my kids back to Tennessee in about a week. We are going to tour the college my daughter wants to go to in Nashville and meet up with my brother and his wife for lunch, then head right back home.
