My mom bought me the Pentax DSLR from Sam’s Club for Christmas, and I’d use the gift card to purchase some extra memory cards. It’s cheaper to buy two 4gb cards than one 8gb! I’ve heard it’s a good practice to use several smaller cards anyway, in case one gets lost or damaged, you won’t lose ALL your pics.
