We’ve started going through all our boxes in our shed and donating things we don’t need to goodwill and throwing away and recycling the rest. We’ve also decided it’s time to reorganize our budget to make sure we’re still on track and plug in any new expenses.

I liked the idea about keeping your coupons in an envelope by the front door…I am always remembering mine left at home after I get to the checkout!

I am going to try and get in the shower before noon. I am also working on getting rid of stuff around the house that I don’t use anymore :)

I’m going to spend less time fighting with my teenager. We have already started talking about what causes us the most angst. She had some valid points and well, when I was listening to myself one day…I was horrified. Who WAS that banshee? LMBO And she admitted that she didn’t like how she acted. This should save us valuable time and energy. I’m not saying it will be easy or that we won’t still have our moments but it will be better. One thing that is already working is laughter…..sometimes we just stop and look at each other and start cracking up.

We are remodleing our 80 year old farmhouse and find like others that we have much we can share. I am donating clothes, household items and seasonal decorations to the Appalachian Helping Hands clothes closet to help the needy! Thanks! senekers@comcast.net
