    I am trying to eat better this month. We are also going to try and keep the house warm enough to be comfy but conserve energy bu wearing warmer clothes if we are cold.

    The changes I am making this month are for personal growth. I am ceasing to criticize my life or the lack in my life and I am beginning to count my blessing and live my life from the stand point of gratitude. I have to stop and smell the roses and appreciate that there are roses to smell. On the green front I am recycling now. And purchasing good quality shopping bags to save on plastic or paper now I say neither I have my own.

    I have decided to change my eating habits and get more exercise so last week I walked a total of 10 miles threw blisters and the heat
    and because we only have 1 income I bought a very used treadmill to help in the losing weight and exercise program which hopefully will last a few months. I have given up soda a while ago and have been drinking water. We all ready recycle but will try to go even greener on products we buy. I already budget as much as I can but have been cutting back even more on anything we really do not need. We have cut back on eating out after kids sporting events. I have cut back on buying processed food and make more items from scratch.

    Changes this month will just to survive the month! I’m going to be looking for more coupons online to save on groceries and getting the sunday paper.     I will no longer drop the mail on the table when I come in the door. I will actually go thru it and put it where it belongs (bills on office desk, crap in trash, coupons on fridge, etc.) I’ve been meaning to do that for a long time, and now is as good a time as any!

    My son is trying to win the distinguished student award for his class. One criteria is 20 hours of community service. This is a great way for us to have some quality time together. We have cooked together for the soup and kitchen, and walked dogs at the animal shelter. I am hopping that we can continue this even after the 20 hours.

    The changes I’m going to make this month is vow to handle the mail within the first 5 minutes it arrives. Throw out the junk, file statements and pay those bills. I also will be cutting down on paper by subscribing online to some of the statement programs. Thanks for a great giveaway!
