Do you ever wake up and wonder how your day is going to go? I had so many issues this summer from buying a new Jeep, breaking down in it and getting rid of it. My heart and soul wakes up every day to take care of my kids, my family and myself. How can I do that if I don’t have a reliable vehicle? I have posted several times on Twitter, Facebook, and here on my blogsite that I am a very proud owner of a brand new Kia Borrego.

We are officially a two Kia car family now. Why Kia? Well, we bought our first Kia in 2004. We have had nothing but amazing luck with it, so when all our issues started with our Jeep (which, by the way I had just bought in May), we thought ‘Hey, why not – let’s check out the new Kia SUV’s.’, so we did. We love the Kia, it is nice to look at and it fits in with our heart and souls, and with our family and budget.
Goodbye Jeep…. Hello Kia!

Where is your heart and soul at? While we were looking at our Borrego, we also looked at the 2010 Kia Soul. This is a fun and sporty vehicle that was named a “2010 Top Car for Families” by MotherProof.com. Are you familiar with Kia Soul’s commercials on TV – you know, the ones with the fun hamsters?

We actually looked at these when we looked at our Borrego. Very sharp looking vehicles and surprisingly a lot of room in them! The interior of mine, and this one are pretty similar. Very nice!

You gotta check out this Kia Soul video!I laugh so hard every time I see these hamsters!
Would you like to say “I knew them before they were famous?” While the video submission period for the Who’s Next? contest is officially over, the fun and excitement is just getting started. Be sure to visit Kia Soul on You Tube on 8/20 to vote for any of the initial 8 contestants selected by our celebrity judges. All 8 contestants will still be in the running for the sweet cash prize of $10,000 and internet fame…
How do you show your soul?

All opinions in this posting are 100% my own. Kia Soul reached out to me and asked me to write a post about my “soul” and what I’m passionate about. No, I didn’t receive a Kia vehicle for my write up or thoughts. It just so happen that I purchased a brand new Kia a few weeks ago, so this all fit in beautifully! (However, if Kia would like to hug me or let me review a Soul, I shall not complain
) I received a Flip Slide camera to help capture my heart and soul!

Great post Tanya and I’m hoping we’re able to start looking for a second car after taxes as I not only dislike my husband’s car but would just love not having to get up at 5am to take him to work lol.

Darn! How did I not know about the contest?
We only have one car right now – that translates into me stuck at home all day (until we move). I totally get how important it is to have a reliable car. So glad that you now have one. Best of luck and many, many, many happy travels in your new Kia!!
Kia! That’s fun to say!

So glad you are having a good experience with Kia! We had a Sportage many years ago and loved it. We drove it until we needed to get something bigger because of expecting twins.

Thanks for sharing the commercial, I actually hadn’t seen any of them.
Honestly I like the look of the Borrego better, the Soul is just a bit too square for me.
