Enjoy a State-Cation with Holiday Inn!

fphome_LogoPar_Single_LogoImageI think I travel more than anyone should travel. It is fun, but it is nice to stay home for a while. Do you take local trips (called a State-cation) close to home?

There are SO many things that you can do, so close to home, save a lot of money and still stay in a comfortable place: Holiday Inn! We have done this a few times and seriously – the fun is just the same as if you were driving across country. Well, minus the road drag that you get from crossing country.

Take another look at your own state for a vacation idea with Holiday Inn. Think of it as a “state-cation” instead of a “staycation”; countless opportunities for adventure, education and rejuvenation reside within the borders of your own home state. You can save hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars with a creative “state-cation”. Plus, everyone can get involved in the planning, whether you’re looking to visit historical landmark; spend a long weekend at the beach; or even stay a night in the big city. When you stay with Holiday Inn, you’ll experience the changes transforming its hotels world wide including signature bedding with “soft” and “firm” pillows and power showers in the bathroom, just to name a few, all with a more contemporary look and feel.

There were a couple of times this summer that we wanted to take a family vacation, but we really didn’t want to have to drive so far. We ended up making it a ‘day trip’ to the zoo, but it was more like a trip to the zoo, day of shopping, great meals and a comfy bed to sleep in – all right around where we live. 80 miles is close for us, but it was still a ‘family vacation’. I love taking state-cations like this!

No matter where you are going, Holiday Inn is right there – ready with a comfy bed and cozy room!

I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Holiday Inn. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.
