Tornado Warning, Sirens, Black Skies, Hail & Scared Kids…. (Video)

Whew! The storm barely missed us!

Tornado sirens going off. People leaving their houses to take cover elsewhere. Thunder. Lightening. HAIL. It was pretty ugly there for a while. Here is our deck. Thankfully the hail didn’t get any larger than the size of a quarter.

I actually saw two tornado’s out my back door last summer, but they went north and missed us in this part of Colorado. The eastern part of Colorado was under a tornado watch last week one day, which is very unusual since it’s really earlier in the year than we normally get put under watches and warnings.
My brother lives in Florida, they constantly get put under watches and warnings. He’s even had giant trees unrooted on his 5 scres from storm winds there.
I just hope we’re not going to have another terrible year, but weather is so unpredictable.

We had this happen to us 24 hours after we got to Oklahoma for our temporary year here. We saw the tornado blow over the top of us and it touched down a few miles north! Ackkk, scary things! Glad you are okay!

Sheesh girl! Glad everyone’s safe! We had some crazy thunderstorms last night but I don’t know if there was any hail.

You are so lucky. I saw the news on this, thank goodness it all stayed South of us.
