Strawberry Shortcake: Sky’s the Limit on DVD now *Review & Giveaway (Closed)*

Both of my kids (boy and girl) love all types of movies. Tucker will watch anything and when we received the new The Strawberry Shortcake Movie: Sky’s the DVD, we were all really excited! I grew up with Strawberry Shortcake, so knowing that my kids will have that same fun experience, is a giddy feeling to me!

ssmovieSweetening store shelves this fall with a brand new look is Strawberry Shortcake in her all new, CGI feature-length movie The Strawberry Shortcake Movie: Sky’s the Limit premiering on DVD September 15, 2009 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and American Greetings Corporation.

Life is berry sweet in Berry Bitty City where Strawberry runs the Berry Café. But, when Berry City’s water supply was in jeopardy, Strawberry must find a way to rescue the town, and learns that when you have good friends and faith in yourself, any challenge can be overcome. The Strawberry Shortcake Movie: Sky’s the Limit also introduces the magical Berrykins, mischievous little creatures who grow and harvest berries from the nearby strawberry fields. In this brand new adventure Strawberry and her friends are little girls with BIG possibilities and share a positive “anything is possible” attitude to overcome obstacles.

A sudden storm leaves Berry Bitty City with a gigantic problem. Strawberry Shortcake and her friends will have to move their whole tiny town unless they find a way to safely remove a huge boulder that threatens everything they hold dear. The storytelling Mr. Longface Caterpillar says he has an easy solution. Strawberry reluctantly agrees to follow him in an adventure-filled journey in search of his fabled Geyser Stone. When that journey ends in failure, Strawberry loses faith in herself. Can her friends restore her “Sky’s the Limit” attitude to help lead them to save the town?

    main entry: I’m 49 yrs and I actually remember when I was 6 or 7 yrs old that my mom had a strawberry shortcake cloth rag type doll that she kept in a box on her bedroom shelf and we 3 girls were not aloud to get it down just look at it through the box at times then put it back. And I never knew what became of that doll. I have little great niece who is 6 yrs old that would love this cute DVD for christmas. Thanks for the offer.

    favorite character when growing up was Johnny Quest.. loved the cars and spies and figuring out the mystery.

    My favorite character as a child was peaches and cream! LOL
    I was in love with strawberry shortcake and EVERYTHING I had was that! My LO will now be exposed to it because I have never grown away from strawberry!
