Kids go through shoes so fast, don’t they? With my kids’ growing feet, it is so hard to trust so many shoes because they are either so hard soled that they cannot walk in them, or they just aren’t comfortable for them. Whatever the case is, I am excited to be able to try out a pair of Stride Rite shoes for Tucker. I have heard of Stride Rite, but never tried them on him before because we don’t have a store anywhere in our area. I was unsure at the sizing, but with the fantastic online size help, I was easily able to print off a size chart for Tucker and measure him the proper way.
I showed Tucker the selection of shoes that Stride Rite had to offer and right away, he picked out the Nickelodeon Slimers Spazmodium.
We looked through all of the boy’s shoes and this was what he wanted. Once they arrived, I was very excited to see how they fit his wide feet and that he had plenty of growing room in them to get him through the summer, and possibly the fall as well. The shoes that I have seen in some generic retailers just do not hold up. I have a rough child and he likes to play dirty. From a parent’s standpoint, I am excited to see that there is a shoe out there that will withstand my active child, as well as serve the comfortable needs that he has. I would much rather pay a little more for something that is reliable, durable and is better for my child’s feet than to toss money out the window on a shoe that hurts and falls apart after just a handful of times of wear.
There may not be a local Stride Rite shoe store in our area, but you can guarantee that I will be either buying online for Tucker’s future pairs (Kambry too!), or mapping the location nearest us. I love the craftsmanship that the shoes entail. The durability has already proved to be very well standing and even in the wash, the shoes are already holding up very nicely; and Summer isn’t even here yet!
