Have fun in the sun safely with SunMate!

sunmate

Summer Bash with Mommy Mandy, Mommy Goggles & Rockin Mama!Having sensitive skin, I am sure that my kids will have the same. We play outside as often as we can but we are never too sure it is ‘safe’ for us to be out and for how long it is ok. Sure, we wear sunscreen so that we won’t burn, especially the kids. I recently received what has to be the most needed thing in our house; the SunMate. What is a SunMate?

SunMate – Meaures the Sun’s Ultraviolet Intensity
Don’t let a few clouds fool you. Knowledge is power, and SunMate gives you the knowledge to have fun in the sun safely while measuring the intensity of the Sun’s strength, allowing you to take action to protect yourself and your family.

  • Alerts of possible over-exposure to ultravoilet rays from the Sun
  • Easy to use and understand. Simply presss the white button located at the top of the monitor
  • LED indicators light up between 1 and 5 depending upon the intensity of the UV light
  • sunmate1Easy to carry and pack – just 2.5″ tall and 2″ wide. Take your ‘mate’ wherever you go!

With as small as the SunMate is, I can carry it with me in a pocket, purse, diaper bag – wherever. We can be on the deck, in the yard, or at the park and all I have to do is push the button on the top of the SunMate and the lights will show you the level on the indicator lights.
