We have really been in to watching PBS. The kids love it and I, as a parent, love letting my kids watch SuperWhy! SuperWhy is a fun filled cast of characters that teach my kids anything from imaginative play to letters and numbers.
After month’s of anticipation, Learning Curve’s Super WHY! toy line, based on the hit PBS KIDS series, will make its retail debut in June at Toys“R”Us stores nationwide. The new product line includes a wide range of exciting, adorable and educational plush toys, figures, vehicles, play sets and early learning aids. With many of the items available for under $20, and filled with familiar sights, sounds, and a cast of reading-ready superhero characters straight from the popular preschool literacy program, children and parents will love Learning Curve’s new Super WHY! line.
The kids love the new toy lines just as much I love to let them be kids, have fun and learn all at the same time.
I love Alpha Pig. Yes. I play with him. He is an interactive little guy in which he moves and his cape, hammer and toolbox come off. Tucker loves Alpha Pig! He is fun and very well made. Tons of fun all in a small piggy!
Take Alpha Pig along on a reading adventure as he comes to life in this plastic action figure. Alpha Pig comes with a detachable signature tool box, hammer and super hero cape! His arm also moves up and down to hammer his way through problems to help save the day!
The Role Play Sets that Learning Curve has are so much fun, oh, and not to mention learning fun! Kambry loves her Princess Pesto kit. This is a cape that is perfect for her, a tiara (what princess can live without a crown?) and a wand that says classic lines from the SuperWhy! show.
The Electronic Princess Presto Set offers your child everything she needs to transform into Princess Presto. The set comes with Princess Presto’s jeweled tiara, full-size cape and electronic Magic Spelling Wand that lights up and says Princess Presto’s favorite phrases from the show!
What is a princess withouth her Super Why masked man? Tucker is a superheo with this, for sure!

Both of the kids love cars and trucks. Why not bring in the SuperWhy! cast in on some flyer vehicles? These are played with and role played with on a daily basis. Great toys and love the prices on them!
The Super Why and Alpha Pig Why Flyer Vehicles are just like the ones on the Super Why show! These plastic vehicles are available in all four characters so your child can collect all of his favorite Super Why friends–and head out on a Super Reader Adventure!
Kambry is still just a bit too young to understand the learning and spelling part of the Wave & Learn Magic Spelling Wand, but the role play that she is learning from the Wand is priceless. She is truly a princess with this.
The Wave & Learn Magic Spelling Wand is a motion-activated learning device that combines learning with role play for hours of fun, interactive play. Just wave the wand to find the answer or to advance the play!
Features three interactive learning modes that teach letter sounds and phonics, spelling, problem-solving, “following directions”, and fine and gross motor skills. The game play and difficulty levels are designed to grow with your child, making this product appropriate for all skill levels
What toddler follows directions?I say this because when Tucker is playing with the Zap & Learn Why Writer, he is actually learning how to follow directions, yet he is being taught things and having fun in the process. We are wroking on his alphabet, and with the the Zap & Learn Why Writer, he is learning so much. Jam packed fun in a small ‘zapper’, as Tucker calls it.

Just like Alpha Pig, the Style and Pose Princess Pesto is truly adorable! She is posable and is so much fun for both of the kids to dress her up in her pretty crown, cape and magic wand.
Princess Presto is ready to get dressed for spelling adventures! She comes with several accessories for hours of dress-up fun. Princess Presto comes with a detachable princess dress, magic spelling wand, crown, princess cape and brush. She is also fully-poseable so you can style and pose her in so many ways!
I love the SuperWhy! line of toys, not only because they are cute, role playing, imagnation growing, fun and learning toys for my kids, but also because the prices are very affordable! SuperWhy! is available at Toys R Us (www.toysrus.com) ranging from $6.99 up to $19.99. As a parent, I would expect to pay more than these prices for these toys, but I am very glad to see that they are affordable for just about any budget.
