Keep your hands free & stay warm with The Slanket *Review & Giveaway* (Closed)

Here in Iowa, our weather has already turned colder. While I like to curl up in the corner of my couch and watch TV, work on the computer or cuddle with the kids, I don’t always like to cover up with a blanket that slips off every time we move. The Slanket is perfect for cuddling up and having a soft blanket around you that fit all your needs and keeps you warm.

The Slanket is a gigantic fleece blanket with sleeves. A very soft to the touch, lightweight, but warm fleece blanket with large, loose sleeves designed so you don’t feel like you’re wearing the blanket, simply wrapped up in its wonder.     I love the story of how the Slanket was created by a college student. Necessity really is the mother of invention. It will really be convenient to have my hands free and stay warm those late nights at the computer. Moss Green is my favorite.

    Oh how I love this! I don’t know if I’m just old or if it’s true that after living in FL for 30 yrs. my blood has thinned……but as soon as it goes to 70 & below, I’m sooo cold….LOL….I know…but I love this & I love that it can go in the washer! Terrific & I would love to have the Royale color…….

    I love the First Light Yellow Slanket. I love that it is so bright and cheery yet still warm and cozy. It would really be nice to have my hands free and stay warm at the same time.

    Whats not to love about the Slanket? I have been wanting one since they came out. My family is always warm and I’m always cold even sometimes in the summer so I’m using a blanket to keep the chill off but don’t like the hassles using a blanket where the Slanket would be perfect, I love that it has sleeves, I could even use on those long cold trips we drive 1200 miles to visit family in the snow states when I’m the only one in car freezing also for those flights that are also cold as I can use it as a cover up so it would serve more then 1 purpose. If I was lucky enough to win I would choose the ARGHHH or The Texas Tea

    I tend to feel chilly more easily than others in the house, so w/ a Slanket they can be comfortable and so can I, while still having my hands free to use my laptop, read, and all of the things I like to do while relaxing! :) I’d love to have Slanket in the texas tea color!

    My sister has a Slanket and loves it. I think of her every time I’m curled up in bed with a good book and have to take my arm out from under the covers to turn a page. This is really a wonderful idea!

    I love this! My daughter has a kids size one I attempt to borrow when she isn’t looking, but it would be so nice to have an adult sized one so the rest of my arms are covered! The Impending Bloom print would be a lovly reminder that despite the cold, spring will come!

    My wife would often wrap in a blanket while watching TV or working on grocery lists. I bought her a Slanket because it doesn’t slide off and lets her still use her hands. I like the alaskan blue and the safari colors.

    I would like this while watching TV. It’s exasperating to keep having to uncover myself to change the channel or adjust the volume or run in the kitchen for a drink and then have to try and get comfortable all over again!     OH! That is JUST what I would like to win to give to my daughter for Christmas. She keeps her thermostat VERY LOW, to save on oil for heating. I’m sure she would love this Slanket.     What I love about The Slanket is the fact that the company donates a percentage of all sales to NRDC, one of the nation’s most effective environmental action groups, whose mission is to safeguard the Earth: it’s people, it’s plants and animals, and the natural systems on which all life depends. As for the Slanket itself, I love that it’s like a large fleece blanket (with sleeve holes), it’s non-pilling, super soft, and machine washable. I love the color “limoges”. I so want to win The Slanket for my 80 year old Mom who lives in Central Oregon where it gets extremely cold in the Fall and Winter months.

    I love that the slanket is the perfect blanket to cozy up with when using the computer – it will prevent my arms from getting cold! I would love to own the Apricot slanket!

    I would choose the Chocolate slanket. These would be great to watch tv in and be able to switch channels without getting unsnug. Also just to be able to read and stay warm! Wow! Worth it! My drafty old house and me would love it!

    I love the length of the slanket so both myself who is on the shorter side and my husband that is over foot taller than me can also use it. I like the wine color

    I have a blanket on me all the time. I get up earlt and sitting with my coffee at the computer it would be so much easier to bundle up with the Slanket. I love the ruby wine color,matches my living room

    i like the Walk the Slank color.

    Wow I would so love to win one of these!!
    As everyone probably knows, the winters here in Canada are BRUTAL!! I am certainly not looking forward to it, however reality has it that it is coming, and very quickly!!

    I love the fact that they give back to the NRDC if you buy a certain color Slanket. So i would love a chocolate brown one because then they will donate to the NRDC, an organization I believe in. Thanks

    I would love to have a Travel Slanket in Ruby Wine. I always get too cold on airplanes. I bet it would be nice for camping in cool weather, too.
