My kids seem to get bored with some toys more quickly than they used to. Maybe it’s because they are getting older so their attention span seems to run around like a roller coaster. We had a chance to check out two play sets from Mattel’s Action Links area of toys and I have to say that these are two play sets that are played with a lot more than I expected them to.

Kambry is almost 3 and she knows how to put them together, use, play with and put away exactly how they came in the box. I was impressed! With Tucker’s 5 year old adventurous personality, I find him creating battle scenes, and setting up areas in the house where Buzz helps save Jessie. The kids play with these sets individually and a lot of times, they will combine the sets to make a longer rescue train track. Here is a short video to show it in action:
We adore these sets! You can add figures to each set to add more rescue missions.

There are four total action sets that you can buy to play with individually, or to connect to the others.
Dr. Porkchop Attacks Stunt Set & Sunnyside Breakout Deluxe Playset are two additional that we will be buying to add to this fun set. The retail price of each is $14.99. I think these would make a great gift for any child that is a Toy Story fan!
