Traveling with the Peek

peek4-thumb-520x292

I received my Peek email device over the weekend and I have put this bad boy to the true test. I have traveled through 2 airports, 3 major cities in 3 states and I have had great luck with the Peek so far. I have had one area that I had no service in, but I am looking in to that. (It may have been my messing around with my settings, but I will attempt that location again soon.

I am very excited about this device! So much, that I have added a new section on Mommy Goggles to track my travels and my experience with the Peek.

Here is what I have found out so far in the first week that I have been using the Peek:

  • The Peek uses T-Mobile’s towers, so you can check coverage here.
  • I live in a small (and I mean small!) town, and I get full bar service.
  • I am currently traveling and was on the road for 5 hours yesterday and today, I have flown through 2 airports and I have had full bar service on my Peek the entire time. (with the exception of when the flight attendant told us to turn off all electronic devices, yet I turned my Peek on just to see if I had coverage. I got ‘the look’, but I looked down to see that I had a red ‘X’. The evil eye look was funny, I might add.)
  • Traveling with the Peek is a cinch! The thinness of the device is nice to put in your pocket.

I have more thoughts to post and will be posting my continued experience. If anyone has any questions, you are more than welcome to shoot me an email at tanya@mommygoggles.com, or visit www.getpeek.com.

I live in a really small town too. I wonder if it would get full bars here?
