Real shoes for real kids! Umi Shoes

trekI admit it. My toddler son has stinky feet. He loves puddles, mud, everything that involved a mess. What toddler isn’t this way? Just because my toddler likes to run and jump in that puddle of water when I tell him not to, doesn’t mean that his shoes have to be ruined. I love the new collection of shoes that Umi has. They are made of a waterproof material so this makes me love Umi even more! I picked out the Trek Chocolate sandals for Tucker. With his wide feet, these seemed like they would be the best fit and with the waterproof material, who can go wrong? Trek comes in three color varieties:

  • olive / grey / orange
  • chocolate / tan
  • black / charcoal / red

I love the quality of Umi. We have purchased shoes for Tucker in the past at local places, but they fall apart in just a matter of weeks, or let’s say – days with my manic toddler.

The sizing with Umi is a bit different than I have seen, but it is very easy to get your child’s size.umi-125x125-logo1

For US sizing of 1, the foot length is around 4 3/8 inches, so this would make a size of 16 in euro for Umi size. You can very easily measure your child’s feet and go through the sizing process this way. I found this to be extremely helpful with finding Tucker’s perfect size. Come to find out, I have been buying shoes that are too small for him. This way, I can measure his feet and know that the shoes that we get him are fitting him just right. You can check out Umi’s size chart here.
