It seems that in our home, if one person isn’t sick, it’s another. We are always scrounging around here for a reliable thermometer, and not to mention, one that doesn’t take 5 minutes to give me the reading. Great timing that we received this to check out the Vicks ComfortFlex InSight Thermometer because I got a chance to test this out on myself this past month. I had a nasty lung 
infection, bronchitis and probably even a touch of the flu and I was feverish, so thankfully I had the ComfortFlex InSight Thermometer.
For use orally, rectally or under the arm, the Vicks ComfortFlex InSight Thermometer takes accurate readings in as little as 8 seconds and features a large, circular display for easy reading. Even middle-of-the-night readings are made easier by the convenient backlight. The thermometer is waterproof for easy cleaning, and has memory recall to help parents keep track as fevers progress. Vicks ComfortFlex InSight Thermometer features a flexible tip, giving moms and caretakers the option depending on their preference.
The time reading on this was fabulous! 8 seconds is what the package says and 8 seconds is what it took to read my temperature. I really love the feature on this thermometer that is color coded to tell you:
Green = ok temperature
Yellow = mild fever
Red = High fever
Another product that Vicks has that I was really excited to check out was the new Vicks Soothing Vapors. This is a waterless plug-in that has a night light and also steams out vapors. I used this on Kambry in her room and I really liked it! I could smell the vapors; not too strong, but not too light. We have tried vapor machines, but they did nothing more than make a mess and not to mention that I didn’t like the fact that hot water was near my child, so this was very refreshing to check out. I will, for sure, be keeping this in our house in case we need it for those sick and stuffy nights.

This is a great giveaway aimed at making you feel better when you are under the weather! I saw the Vicks Soothing Vapors waterless plug-in when I was at Babies R Us earlier today and I thought it was a great gadget! I will definitely be buying this during our next flu or cold in this house and would love the opportunity to win it instead! I haven’t seen the thermometer before but I LOVE the practicality and ease of the color-changing screen based on temperature.
