If there was a character that I loved as a kid, it was Where’s Waldo. I remember having all the books and puzzles of Waldo. As an adult, I get that kid feeling back when I travel with my Nintendo DS and am able to play Where’s Waldo: The Fantastic Journey. For the last 3 weeks, I have been playing this game at home, and on the go.

Mom’s thoughts
- While I was playing, immediately, my childhood came back to me. I cannot tell you how many hours I spent with my long time childhood best friend playing Where’s Waldo. There are several sectors within the game that you go to with different levels to accomplish. You have to spot Waldo and all of his members including Ruff and along the way, you unlock special power sectors. I played this game for at least 4 days straight and loved every minute of it! There are funny areas where you point out the differences in the screens, as well as finding the yellow & black characters that are hidden in certain screens. I loved the sections where you find the differences in the top and bottom screen. I will tell you that if you don’t find the differences in a certain time frame, you can go back and re-do it, but the differences that you will see the next time are not the same as you just saw. This makes it even more fun! This is truly a fun game for any age for Nintendo DS.

I actually just bought 2 “Where’s Waldo?” books at Amazon over the weekend. My sons are crazy about these books — and they provide hours of quiet (I mean, fun).
Brilliant idea to make them for the Wii!!!
