When you are on a weight and health mission, you can do it. You CAN do it. Even if it is ONE pound at a time, that is what matters. If you are here to lose weight, one pound at a time is what matters. Here is a confession. For some of you that don’t know, I was on a mega weight loss mission after I had my son and lost over 100 pounds. I had gained well over 80 pounds with him and was not happy at all with myself for allowing myself to gain that much weight. I got to my weight goal for my body type and frame BUT I then got pregnant with my daughter. With pregnancy comes weight gain. I gained weight (obviously) with my pregnancy, but not as much as I did with my son. There are ups and downs and I have to say that one of my biggest inspirations to getting the weight off and getting healthy was watching The Biggest Loser every week. I looked (still do!) forward to each episode. I love the tips, the suggestions and the motivation that I get from it. I learned from watching the show that if I was hungry in those late hours of the evening, to drink a glass of milk. This helped fill me up and is very good for you! The one thing that helped me with my cravings and late night hunger was MILK.
I have to say that I am a complete tart when it comes to phone interviews. I apologize to you, Michelle, for sounding like a ditz!!! Thank you so much for taking your time to chat with me on the phone. It was really a pleasure to speak with you!
Michelle Aguilar, 26, was season 6 winner from The Biggest Loser! Michelle lost 110 pounds (45.45 % of her starting body weight of 242 pounds)
Start: 242
End: 132
Weight lost: 110 pounds

I asked my readers to let me know if they had any questions for Michelle and here are some that we had:
- Have you lost or gained weight since being off the Biggest Loser campus?
I am at my goal weight and I have gained a couple of pounds, but it is the fact that I am happy in my own skin. I am no longer at that ‘lose weight’ state of mind. - What was your goal outfit when you were losing weight?
Bathing suit! To come home and be able to put on that bathing suit and be comfortable in it, was a great feeling!
- What was your ‘last straw’ to wanting to lose weight?
When I realized how much damage I was doing to my body, and I saw a picture of myself from Thanksgiving. I saw my face, but didn’t recognize my body. I thought ‘if I don’t change my life, and soon, I am going to die!’ - What are you doing to maintain your weight loss?
The wonderful thing about maintaining your weight loss is that you are no longer in that ‘lose weight’ mode. I am in a maintenance mode and I can take a step back and look at my routine. I am in the gym 2-3 days a week and doing cardio. MILK! I love milk! Milk is good for you and it is filled with so many good things like calcium, Vitamin D, Vitamin A and it helps me spring back from my work outs. Milk helps solve that craving for when you are looking for something sweet.
- Question from Gena: “Do you continue to fight temptation and what is your biggest challenge?”
I am a SWEETS girl, I love my sweets! I do not completely deny myself, but when I see that cupcake, I think about the consequences and the adding another hour in the gym, so I ask myself if I really want that added time. I look at it and I weigh the pros and cons and that is how I battle it. - Questions from Judith:
a. “If you weren’t able to go to the Biggest Loser Ranch to lose all your weight, do you think you could have done it on your own, or without guidance from Bob &/or Jillian?”
The one thing that is wonderful about the show is that it shows you what the capabilities are of the human body. I do think that I could have done it on my own, but it would have obviously taken longer. Anything is possible! b. “If someone cannot afford a gym membership, do you have any at home suggestions for those that are wanting to lose weight and get healthy?
Absolutely! You don’t have to have a gym membership. Squats, lunges, walk up a flight of stairs, get outside, play with the kids. Anything to get that heart rate pumping!
- Who was your favorite trainer and why?
Oh, Jillian! She is my GIRL! She is my little buddy! I try and see Jillian every time I am out in LA.
