Earlier this month, I received a pair of SKECHERS Stride Running shoes. With my daily workouts, I thought I would start up running. I have never been much of a runner, but I started to get the urge to start something different from my daily elliptical workouts and routines.

The SKECHERS Stride Running shoes are available in a few fun color selections.
After looking at the colors, I decided to go with the Green with purple.
I thought having a bright pair of running shoes would help keep me motivated to keep going, keep running, keep losing weight, get healthy, stay healthy & stay active. I do have to say that so far, so good! In the past with my runs, I would be so sore for days after a fun. All along, it was my shoes that were hurting me; not the way I ran. I do have to say though, that running on a treadmill is a lot different than running on open asphalt. I use my SKECHERS Stride shoes for my treadmill runs mostly, but they also keep me cushioned while running on the open road.
I cannot begin to tell you how many miles I have put on my Stride’s since the beginning of May. My feet are happy. My shins are happy. I am happy! The soles are cushioned very comfortably and in the past, after a run, my shoes have stunk beyond words. The upper is made of a lightweight mesh fabric for cooling ventilation, so no more stinky insoles. Should my runs be in the early, or later, part of the day where the sun is not too visible, the sides have metallic side stripes for reflection. The tongue is nicely padded and the insole is more comfortable than I had thought they would be. The overall shoe itself is very lightweight and I’d highly recommend the Women’s SKECHERS Stride Running Shoes for any beginner or active runner.
