Work your brain with a Nintendo DS Lite

Get away from the television, get a Nintendo DS Lite in your hands and let the fun begin! I remember the Nintendo Game Boy from when I was a kid, so having the DS Lite brings back so many memories, meanwhile creating so many new ones. When I received my Nintendo DS Lite, I was so giddy! I plugged it in to charge and I couldn’t wait for the charge to hurry up so I could start the fun. Tucker and I cuddle on the couch, under our blankie and we play. He may be a tiny bit young for it, but he sure is getting the hang of it. I have been teaching him and showing him the buttons and how the games work.

The last time that I played a Nintendo System was probably back around 1985/1988. I had a friend that I was so jealous over because they had the Nintendo System and all the fun games. I used to go over to her house all the time to play Super Mario Brothers. I cannot express the fun that I had playing this game in the 80’s, so when I got my Nintendo DS Lite, I went to Wal-Mart and I purchased the
New Super Mario Bros. I was so excited to see that Mario’s legacy lives on 23 years later!

We also love our Kirby Super Star Ultra game! Tucker can participate a bit more with this game, and oh… the giggles that he gets from this is priceless! Here is a video that hubby took of Tucker and I playing Kirby. I have never played Kirby (past, or present) before this day. I have to say that this is a very FUN game! Tucker loves cuddling with mommy and playing. He did pretty well for a 3 year old, actually!

Product Features: Kirby Super Star Ultra

  • With so many adventures waiting to be unlocked, there’ll never be a dull moment as you run, float, copy enemies and use Helpers to fight the likes of King Dedede and Meta Knight
  • On top of a slew of new adventures, the original modes found in the beloved Super NES game, Kirby Super Star, are all here with updated graphics and fully rendered movie scenes
  • There are also three new touch-screen-controlled mini-games that you can play with up to three friends via DS Download Play Kirby Card Swipe, Kirby on the Draw and Snack Tracks

We also have Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day! I really need to work at this one. I think my brain has been on vacation for a few years. LOL! I have been getting in to Sudoku and it is quite fun! I love how the Brain Age 2 really gets your brain moving! Tucker loves that he can sit and play his game while mommy plays hers; plus, we get nice cuddle time. I am looking forward to many more times of giving my brain a good spin with this game!

Product Features: Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day!

  • New Activities! The title is a series of minigames designed to give your brain a workout. The 17 new, engaging activities are all designed to help work your brain and increase blood flow to the prefrontal cortex. Whether you’re playing simple songs on a piano keyboard or monitoring the photo finish of a footrace, you’ll love your new mental workout!
  • Keep training! When you start a new game, you will take a series of tests and get a score that shows how old your brain is. This number is called your Brain Age. With daily training over weeks and months, you can improve your mental acuity and lower your Brain Age. Progress is charted in graph form.
  • Expanded multiplayer! You can keep up to four save files on one game card. Sharing a game allows you to compete in a picture-drawing quiz or a word challenge with family and friends. You can also use DS Download Play to send a demo to friends or compete with up to 16 players in one of four fun modes.

From a woman and mommy’s stand point, I love the Nintendo DS Lite! I love how compact it is. We all know that most women and mommies have massive purses that seem to have no bottoms in them, or diaperbags in which we tote everything in it, but the kitchen sink. I love the compact size because I can carry it with me wherever we go. With the upcoming holidays and our travels that we have planned to visit family, I am looking forward to our 5+ hour road trips with the kids with my Nintendo DS.

Are you looking for a perfect gift for someone this holiday season, that will leave a smile on their face for more than just a couple of minutes? Give them a Nintendo DS Lite and a few games. Talk about smiles and fun to last a long time!

Welcome back to Nintendo! Yes, some things have changed but we still have Mario and now we have “smart games”. I agree that doing this is much better than watching the old mind control device, have fun!
